The #1 starter card for points travel now has a 100,000 point offer for a limited — with a very low annual fee.
I’ve used these points for stays in gorgeous hotels that would have cost over $2,000 a night and flights to amazing places. The points are flexible so you’ll have a lot of options when it comes time to spend them!
Postcards from Malta
Over spring break, we took a trip as a family to Milan and Athens, with a day on Hydra.
With the kids on different school schedules, my husband and older son headed back to New York while my ten year old and I went on to Malta.
And if you’re wondering, “why Malta?” like literally everyone we told our itinerary to, read on!
We had five days to ourselves and wanted to choose a destination with a direct flight from Athens and direct flight back to Milan where we had our return flight home (Emirates business class on points!).
ChatGPT was helpful to let me know the few airports that had direct flights to and from these cities and after checking out our options, we landed on Malta.
And off we went to this small 8,000 year old island nation off the coast of Sicily.
The island was packed with history — prehistoric temples older than the pyramids and some of the most dramatic harbor views I've seen anywhere in Europe.
